Blue sky slitting line

BLUE SKY slitting lines are designed with the latest standards of technology and completely made in our factory.
Our Slitting lines can be used for processing hot and cold-rolled galvanized, pre-painted and stainless-steel coils, as well as nonferrous materials – aluminium, copper and brass coils.
Our designers develop all the new projects according to the customer needs and requirements, so all our lines are customized according to the individual requirements.
Our slitting lines use the most advanced quick–change tooling systems where manual operations are minimized that allows our customers to minimize the tooling change time as well.
The advanced technology of our slitting lines allows to provide an excellent quality of coils slitting as well as tight and flat strip recoiling after slitting.

What Is A Cut To Length Line?

A cut-to-length (CTL) or a blanking line unrolls and flattens a coil of material, cuts it into sheets of precise lengths and stacks those sheets into a bundle. Functions can include, but not be limited to, coil stocking and coil loading, uncoiling and coil opening, straightening of the leading edge of the coil, edge trimming, scrap balling, scrap cutting, and sheet stacking. In-line equipment used in a system can vary according to the width, thickness and incoming coil weight and may include coil storage, uncoiler and coil loading, leveler, flattener, dust collector, grip, roll feeds, shears, laser cutting system, sheet stacker and related tooling and accessories.

How Does Cut To Length Line Work?

The cut-to-length process can be considered straightforward. Processing lines take lengths of uncoiled sections of flat rolled steel and cuts them into various lengths. Then, intense pressure is applied to compress and flatten the material into a sheet or plate, depending on its thickness.

Why We Need A Cut To Length Line?

A cut-to-length line processes metal coil rolls by uncoiling, straightening, shearing to length and stacking of sheet metal blanks. These lines provide automation that ensures accurate feeding, shearing, and flattening for a variety of industries.
